Ladies and gentlemen, Remy is back and believe it or not he’s
hotter than ever. This time around Remy is out for revenge and the stakes are
higher as he has a lot more to lose. Remy’s
out for Scorpion blood and has his eye
on the championship, he may have lost last season but the fans won’ accept
defeat this time around and neither will he.
Katy Evans does it again. MINEhad me salivating
like a junkie and every page of Remy was like an adrenaline rush. Without giving
away any spoilers, this book was everything I could want and more. Caveman Remy is more possessive than normal and those lion like instincts
when he practically inhales Brooke and marks her, may be disturbing to some but
had me locking myself in my room for some alone time.
Pete, Riley and Diane are back and with Brooke in his corner,
Remy has everything he needs. That is until Brooke drops a bomb on Remy that
has the potential to blow his lid. His reaction to this was by far my favorite part
of the book. Will Remy make it through the season a winner or will he sacrifice
it all for Brooke again?
As per the last book, most of the time the team is on the
road, traveling the circuit while Remy wipes clean his opponents. Seriously,
watch out when this man is in the ring, a bulldozer has nothing on him. Sometimes
Katy Evans descriptions of Remy will be enough to light your fire and set your
motor on cruise on control. There’s only so much sexual tension a person can
take and it’s back tenfold.
I’m still not a fan of Brooke’s sister or Remy’s parents.
Both cause nothing but trouble and Remy has more than the average person. He’s
a prime piece of man meat and the fans love him, but every step of the way all
he sees is Brooke. It’s breathtaking watching this beast of a man succumb to Brooke
alone while thousands of adoring fans scream his name. But to him they don’t
register and it’s a given that he has tunnel vision.
There were some great scenes in MINE. And surprisingly
not just the ones with Remy. There’s dressing up in old lady disguises, a box
of creepy crawlies and more music that will somehow make you love Remy more. Remy
and Brooke together are like their own modern-day fairy tale and no matter if
Remy was Blue or Black he still touches your heart.
Overall I loved MINE. Every page was magical
and my obsession with Remy has partially been appeased. Katy Evans knows just
how to write to suck you in and make you feel like you’re there. The tension oozes
off the page and leaves you wanting more. Can’t wait for more of this series.
Fans of REAL will not be disappointed. The ending was far
more than I ever could ask for so saying I was pleased barely covers it.
