Ruining Me - Ruining You
by: Nicole Reed
★★★★★ 5 Stars
Blurb: Eighteen year old Jay Stevenson is living a horrible nightmare.
Two years ago, she had the world in the palm of her hand, but in one moment, it was ruined. Secrets, lies, and the worst imaginable betrayal haunt her new reality. Burying her problems under a cold façade seems to be the only way to cope until it all catches up with her. Soon, she loses control of the lonely world she built around her, and the past, present, and future collide.
Three guys are there when it all comes crashing down: JT, the perfect boyfriend she never wanted to give up; Rhye, the local bad boy “rock star” who made her forget the past; and Kane, the funny and sweet tattooed bartender who wants her future.

Jay’s life almost came
to a forced end when her darkest secrets were revealed and the one who
she chose to give her future to was ripped away. Now, everything she
kept hidden is the topic of everyone’s conversation, and not all are
sympathetic. Someone wants her horrific past to dictate her future, and
another is determined to help her choose a different path.
In conclusion to Ruining Me, Kane and Rhye know that Jay is worth the fight, but waiting for her to find herself may ruin them all...

REVIEW
I take back every time I called a book an emotional rollercoaster. They have nothing on Ruining You and Ruining Me. These books will catch you by your hair and throw you repeatedly against the wall till you can’t move. There are many plot points similar to those in other books but none of that matters because it is uniquely its’ own. Think Captive in the Dark minus the torture and kidnapping, Taking Chances and Thoughtless without the cheating love-affair and Find You in the Dark without an emotionally unstable male lead, rather, here it is our protagonist named Jay. And since I forgot to mention it, both these books blew me away and in the most amazingly-delicious way. They were phenomenal and even with all the yelling and LOL moments I was taken for a ride.

REVIEW
I guess I’m not so much on the Find You in the Shadows bandwagon. I enjoyed this story don’t get me wrong but at times it was extremely depressing and turned me into a Debbie Downer. I’ll admit however, that this book was much better than the first. Mostly because we see Clay and Maggie facing and fighting their demons head on and not brushing them aside to deal with later.

The story of Jack Henry and Laurelyn

How do you move on when he’s every song you
sing?
After Laurelyn Prescott walks away from the love
of her life, she returns to Nashville to pursue the only dream she has left.
Determined to find a distraction from the pain of losing Jack Henry, she
immerses herself in her music. But with her old life comes old acquaintances
and new expectations. When Laurelyn refuses her record producer’s outrageous
demands, she finds herself without a career—until an unforeseen opportunity
presents itself. From there it’s a rocket ride straight to the top where
Laurelyn finds the success she’s always dreamed of. Will it be enough to bring
her the happiness she so deserves, or will the absence of Jack Henry leave her
wanting more?
Jack Henry McLachlan never expected to fall in
love with Laurelyn Prescott—but he did. After he foolishly let her slip through
his fingers, he spends three months searching for her, but their reunion
doesn’t come easy. The woman he finds isn’t the same one who drifted away
without a goodbye. No longer an insecure girl on an Australian adventure, this
Laurelyn is a successful musician with a promising career. Her dreams are
becoming a reality, and Jack is terrified his American girl won’t have a place
for him in her new life. With only a month to convince her otherwise, will it
be enough time to make her visualize a life beyond the glitz and glamour, a
life that includes him?

Kindle Blog Hop & Giveaway
Show Your Support Kindle Giveaway!!
Thanks everyone, for stop by today to show your support and love for Bloggers and authors! My support will come with me sharing some of my favorite reads and authors with you..Some things you should know about me..
- I LOVE Angsty, motorcycle driving, tattooed, Hot bad-boys with alpha/hero complexes...
- I LOVE romance, New Adult, suspense, BDSM(sometimes the dirtier the better) etc... and I know it's cliche but I'm a sucker for a girl in need of rescue....
- I LOVE Authors who think outside the box. The less predictable to the better.
- I am addicted (more like fused) to my Kindle and would probably die without it. One-clicking is my New-Age girly shoe addiction even though my credit does not approve.
- I LOVE blogging, roaming Goodreads, stalking author sites and making friends with fellow book-A-holics. Who needs a life when books provide the perfect alternative LOL...
- I HATE, despise, loathe and go into a murderous rage when confronted by a cliff-hanger, especially the one's that come out of nowhere.. Authors, perhaps try warning us ahead of time when using this tactic or maybe not releasing the next novel more than a few months away.... It's torturous.
- Lastly, I just plain ol' love to read. My favirote part of the day is when I can plant myself on the couch with my kindle/book in hand and let the world slip away... Right now I'm most looking forward to the release of Origin (Lux #4) by Jennifer Armentrout and Scare Crow (Crow's Row #2) by Julie Hockley...
So without further ado, here are SOME of my favorite reads ever, books I will continue to and have read numerous times.. Covers will link you to Goodreads page so you can add away.
