HER ROOMMATE: Nicki Payne is ready to party and she doesn't waste any time hooking up with a guy in a frat house bathroom. Her motto: College is a time to be young, wild and free.

A GUY: Christopher Knight is the easy-going English major with a sexy smile and killer body who sits next to Ana in her Shakespeare class. Ana finds Christopher intriguing. She just doesn't want to admit that she's falling for him.

THE HOOKUP LIST: A list of freshman girls who are ready for action that's circulated to the freshman guys via a weekly Listserv. When Nicki Payne is one of the first girls featured on The Hookup List, guys start knocking on her dorm door at all hours of the day and night looking to score...

☯Minor Spoilers
The thing I disliked most about this book was how deceiving the synopsis is. I went in with pre-conceived notions of Christopher only to find out I was basically a big huge bitch, because Christopher was nothing but a sweet and always casual  guy with some crazy friends.  I guess I should also mention that I really enjoyed this book. At times the story seemed to fly by and felt rather short. Not too much happens outside of a normal NA romance but in regards to the plot I will admit I loved it. Brought back memories of my high school days when the football players had their own version of the hook-up list better known as the jump off list.
"Hooking up is easy… But what about getting unhooked? That can be a problem.”- Christopher
Ana has a boyfriend back home. Back home may be across the country but Paulo is also Ana’s best friend. When Christopher starts flirting with her Ana can’t help but try and brush him off as best as possible. Christopher is no pushover however, and he somehow has Ana divulging her deepest secrets and makes her question her life, especially Paulo.
"I would never cheat on Paulo but I definitely thought about what it would be like to kiss Christopher.”- Ana
From the moment Christopher locked eyes on Ana he was mesmerized. He knows nothing of her strict Catholic upbringing or that she has a boyfriend, in fact everything but Ana matters little too him. The sparks between these two are scorching. But both are honorable and  refuse to start a relationship where infidelity is the start. Plus does Ana really want to give up her best friend, the relationship her family has supported for the last two years?
Christopher and Ana have an interesting road ahead of them. Christopher has some past girl drama he’s still dealing with. Unfortunately for him he has a crazy ex and he hasn’t seen the last of her yet.  The Hook-Up List certainly makes their relationship both interesting and dangerous. Literally the first day of orientation and the men on campus have a list compiled of easy girls, their skills and more obscene info that they hope will help them score. Ana is extremely embarrassed and disgusted when she discovers the list. Imagine her surprise when her roommate is upset to not be number #1 on the list but rather number #2.  (She was definitely the complete opposite of Ana but surprisingly the girls didn’t clash too much.)
“I’m really not that fragile.” As soon as I said it, I knew the words sounded false. I was a tall guy, fit and athletic. At first glance no one would ever use the term fragile to describe me. But inside, in my heart and soul, I knew I was extremely vulnerable.’-Christopher

Overall I really enjoyed this story. I wish there was more to it though. Christopher and Ana were both great characters and even with the strict influence of their families they manage to retain their individuality. Together they help motivate one another and realize their goals.  I did worry that things moved too fast at times but both characters seemed happy so I went with it. I would definitely recommend this on originality alone. I can’t lie and say I didn’t wish for a better epilogue but it’s possible there is another story on the way, this time from Spence and Nicki. More often than not these vile ‘Hook-Up List’s’ actually exist and even though it’s all for fun and games reading about it, I think more people need to become aware of how demeaning and demoralizing something like this actually is. I think Dakota Madison did a great job of highlighting this horrible facet of college life but still made it fun, romantic and entirely enjoyable.
